Festival Director Richie Eyles said the October 2-5 event would feature a program of broad appeal including top Australian acts, exciting emerging artists and quality internationals.

“Xavier Rudd & the United Nations will be one of the big crowd favourites this year and it’s fantastic to have them back and hot on the heels of their big European tour,” Mr Eyles said.

“Angus & Julia Stone will also have enormous appeal along with Good Times Band featuring Kate Ceberano, Joe Camilleri, Brian Cadd, Ross Wilson and Wilbur Wilde.”

Division 2 Councillor Tim Dwyer said the impressive artist line-up reflected the festival’s high regard and profile.

“The Caloundra Music Festival has grown in stature remarkably over it’s short nine year history and the impressive and extensive list of national and international artists we’ve secured again this year is certainly testament to that,” Cr Dwyer said.

“Once again there’ll be something to suit everyone’s music taste at this year’s festival and the exciting thing is we’ll have even more artists to announce in the coming weeks.”
